We began running dedicated gastric point-of-care ultrasound workshops in 2018 as "POCUS North Shore," the first organisation in Australasia to do so. In 2024, we rebranded as Gastricus with a renewed purpose to enhance the teaching and learning of gastric ultrasound to improve patient care.
