We run comprehensive 4-hour workshops on gastric point-of-care ultrasound for medical professionals, to assess risk of tracheal aspiration and guide airway management. Our workshops are suitable for practitioners working in anaesthesia, intensive care, and emergency medicine.
Gastricus workshops conform to the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (ANZCA) PG47 Guideline on training and practice of perioperative diagnostic POCUS 2025.
During the workshop, participants will receive:
hands-on training by expert faculty with immediate feedback
experience in scanning a variety of gastric states
a formative DOPS assessment
formal image interpretation and reporting training
a comprehensive handbook as pre-workshop reading and for future reference.
NZ Workshop fee: NZ $695 (incl. GST)
